Stonewater Control Systems To Exhibit New Application for its Device Management Platform at 2007 Military Communications Conference

EVANSTON, ILLINOIS—October 18, 2007—Stonewater Control Systems announced today it will be demonstrating its recently launched mobile device management platform, Control 1st at the 2007 Military Communications Conference (MILCOM). Stonewater's Control 1st has the ability to both persistently monitor the health of mobile network nodes and fuse data from disparate sensors. MILCOM will be hosted by the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) at the Gaylord Palms Resort on October 29-31 in Orlando, Florida.

The MILCOM conference provides an ideal setting to demonstrate the new application of the Control 1st mobile device management platform. The software is capable of collecting real-time sensory data from thousands of locations and presenting that data on a common platform. This functionality gives customers an unprecedented operational picture of their widely distributed critical systems.

Stonewater's booth at MILCOM will include a Cisco Mobile Access Router (MAR) with Control 1st software embedded. The MAR will stream real-time sensory information including airborne chemical, weather and acoustic data streams over a network in the booth, and will also display real-time forensic information about the performance of the MAR and other devices on the network. The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) recently ordered MARs with the Control 1st platform, which will be deployed soon.

"Stonewater is proud to introduce another extremely useful application for our Control 1st device management platform," said Randy Nogel, President of Stonewater Controls. "MILCOM is a place where the best in the industry display their hard work and technological innovation, and we're happy to be a part of this event."
