Stonewater Announces Executive Team Changes

EVANSTON, IL — June 10, 2004 — Stonewater Control Systems announces that Randolph J. Nogel has been named President and CEO. This appointment continues Stonewater's ongoing plan to enhance its executive team. Mr. Nogel brings to Stonewater nearly 25 years of experience in business planning, strategic alliances and project development.

"Randy Nogel brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning to Stonewater. We are excited that he has joined our executive team," said Gerd Nierlich, former President and CEO.

Prior to joining Stonewater, Mr. Nogel was Managing Director of SC&M, an investment banking firm in Chicago. Mr. Nogel received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska and a law degree from the University of Denver College of Law.

Gerd Nierlich has assumed the title Chairman of the Board. Mr. Nierlich, Stonewater's founder, has 20 years of management consulting and software solution design and leadership experience. He continues to guide new application development, system enhancements and commercial negotiations with strategic partners. He obtained his masters degree in Energy Technology from the Technical University in Aachen, Germany, one of the most highly regarded technical schools in Europe.

Kevin Kriegel has been named Vice President, Engineering. Since joining Stonewater in 2000, he has been responsible for all aspects of hardware and software design and testing, systems deployment and custom projects. Mr. Kriegel founded VisionMix Technologies, a firm specializing in robotics systems, in 1995. He has more than 20 years' experience in robotics hardware, field service and systems engineering. Mr. Kriegel graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in communications.
